I will make a trip up to the shop Saturday. I called there today and it sounds like all the body cut in is finished. They said they should start bolting the parts back to the car next week. I will grab some more pictures when I visit Saturday.

They bead blasted the hood hinges, door hinges, hood latch and a couple more things.
Next they said they might be bolting some of it together next week. They used a 1/2 gallon of paint already on it. I guess that orange is really hard to cover. They are using a white sealer under it to get the brightness.
Hopefully when I get back from Cleveland next weekend they will have the dog house bolted on anyways.
I have a reproduction door for sale as well. The body man said he would have less time in using the original door so he used it. I would take $250.00 for it. It cost about $350.00 with tax.

Your car is coming along nicely...makes me wanna get going on mine. Once our new baby arrives and I get most of the rest of my re-modeling done I am gonna get rolling on my Chevelle. I can really see how it can come together quick. Keep up the good work Larry you can see the prize (almost).

For the past 2 weeks it has been pretty slow. They have had a little flurry of collision in and out. It is probably a good thing in a way. Gives the primer time to shrink some more.
They did spray the good primer in the package tray area and below and coated it with some really thick textured black paint. I liked that stuff pretty well. They also painted the inside of the cowl area and on top of the firewall.
I am satisfied so far. I would like them to just quit everything that they are doing and get on mine, but I am sure I would be out of a lot more money if they done that. As long as I get it back around Nov. I would be happy, but I won't tell them that.

Well the doors are bolted on and the hinges rebuilt and bead blasted, primed and painted. The trunk lid is bolted on and lined up. It is getting there.
Fenders and hood should be installed this week from what they told me. I'm getting closer.

I stopped in today again. They had the fenders lined up with the doors. I can't beleive how great the gaps are. They are lined up perfect. The hood is next tomorrow I guess. I forgot to take the splash pan behind the front bumper. I gotta drop that off tomorrow. I will get some pictures on here soon.

I added a couple more of the Batmobile (Gotham Cruiser). The 55 in the background is really nice. They are still buffing it out.
