You're having the Batmobile conversion done to your car...sweet!! That 69 Chevelle in the shop looked pretty cool too.

Well the car is on standby at the shop until some colision work gets out of the way. In the mean time Craigs List has been bringing cash my way for some Chevelle goodies.
Plus I have been busy buffing out some stainless around the windows and it is turning out great. The only thing I am trying to figure out is where my passenger side front windshield chrome disappeared to. I found everything except for that one. I I think somebody might have picked it up by mistake for their own. .
My original door handles came out looking like new after buffing them out.
I went to the swap meet and bought some clips and stuff. My brother Greg picked up an engine stand. That is going to help get his 454 out of storage at my place to his place.

Well yesterday morning I got half of the garage floor scrubbed down to get the oil and grease up. I ran out of time for the other half. I will have to get the other half done this week.
I am taking 4 of my SS Rims and getting the old tires dismounted and plan on getting them bead blasted or something to get them cleaned and powder coated.

I probably have 10 or more sets of windshield chrome...you could bring your rims to the meeting and have Rob blast them.

Dave, If you have a left side windshield molding for my 69 I could use one. It doesn't have to be in great shape.

Call Rob and ask him...maybe he will let you do it yourself with his sand blaster

I might do that Dave. I might just go ahead bring some engine brackets to get done first. I am like Craig. Don't want to have parts overflow at one meeting.

Well I went to the bodyshop today. They are ready to start spraying it next week. They got the body to frame bolts loose and moved it just a little until the gap in that passenger fender and hood was right.
They said it should be ready right after Thanksgiving or shortly afterwards to bring home.
I guess one of the first things I will doing is installing a headliner and getting the windshield and back glass installed.

I was told paint and clear should be sprayed Monday they are hoping. They were saying I can possibly bring it home Saturday. I guess I will start putting it altogether here soon.
When I get it running I will drive it back out there for the wet sanding and buffing out.

Still needs wet sanded and buffed. They wanted to wait a couple months to let the paint breathe some. That will give me time to remove the hood and install the engine and other components on the car.
Then they wet sand with 1200 and finish with 2000 and buff.
I guess the flash played a little trick with the color on the front header panel.
First things to get accomplished will be the weather stripping, headliner, front and back windshield and door glass.
