Here's what I'm proposing for a schedule - we should start working on filling in the blanks before the next meeting. If we can have the whole year scheduled out before spring, this will help encourage more involvement
(meeting) January 20th, Lakeville MN - Crystal Lake Automotive. (CONFIRMED) Autobody or mechanical demo, "Holiday" feast. (our biggest turn-out every year! )
(meeting) March - open suggestion: tour of a shop/business, or meet at someone's garage to help work on their car
(meeting) May - open suggestion: do a show again if Walser is on board??? - if not, pot-luck at a park somewhere and encourage family participation
June - North St. Paul cruise night - Tony Hoffer to coordinate.
(meeting) July - Car Craft Summer Nationals, St. Paul (MN state fairgrounds) Paul Siliciano to coordinate.
August - open Suggestion - Drag racing test 'n tune at Rock Falls, or the family picnic idea stated for May
(meeting) September, Golden Valley, MN - home/garage meeting at Keith Anderson's
October - Fall Cruise - Steve Benson to coordinate.
(meeting) November - Corvette Specialties in Blaine (?)
As always, we need input, suggestions, and hosts to get this together.

Put me down for hosting the September meeting. Maybe that will motivate me to get the garage finished. Posts: 707 | From: Lonsdale, MN | Registered: Aug 2004

Derek for march if people were willing to drive to zimmerman. And if nothing else pop's up and if the wife is ok with it. I have the space to do something? Have to make sure it's ok with wife first.

Thanks Steve, now that the holidays are over, hopefully we can start focusing on this stuff again.
Does anyone know if Precision Restorations was interested in hosting us again? That's another option that would be best considered for a winter meeting, such as March or November.
Jamie, How far out of the metro is Zimmerman? It seems to be pretty hard to get anyone from the metro area to drive any real distance... Maybe that would be an option for a spring/fall cruise destination, or stop? Anythinge else in your area to see?
A "tour of garages" would be fun, get a cruise route lined up that can hit 4-6 members' homes and garages all in one day? ...seems like it could be a logistics nightmare though.
Lets try to get March set before the January meeting... even better if done this week, I'm getting started on a newsletter again right now. Posts: 1442 | From: Dexter, MN | Registered: Aug 2004
