Our club picnic will be Saturday Sept. 20 from 3pm to ????
This is a family event. John S. has agreed to host it at his place. He has a very nice home and garage set up. There is alot of room to bring outdoor games like frisbee, ladder ball, volleyball, croqet, etc. for the kids to keep busy. This is a potluck event. John has a nice grill for us to use. I will be starting another post with the potluck food list. I will be sending out an email after Labor day with the address/directions.
How many of you plan on going and how many people are you bringing??

We decided to do the Route 66 car show in Springfield Ill the next weekend. Got a couple of people from town here going with and meeting a bunch of Team Chevelle/ACES people. Will have to save up our pennies for that. I't 425 miles one way from here and plan on actualy DRIVING the 65 down and back. Got the cruise control working half assed and plan on fine tuning it before we go. Anybody else want in on a great little ride, let me know! It sounds like a great time! http://www.familyevents.com/event/87 2500 cars and a lot of cool bands, demos from restoration houses from all over, and beer-lots of beer! As long as I can get the body on the frame on Labor Day, I'll be there. Not sure on the wife yet. Everything hinges on whether I can get the necessities to get the body back on.
