So, I got to finally drive my car after waiting all winter gathering parts and finally getting the time and space to do it.
I went up today and got to not only hear it run and get it tuned closer to where it should be, I got to go fill up the almost empty tank with gas and put about 40 miles on it. Still some timing curve to work out, but the a/f mixture is pretty good and it idles pretty good at about 725 to 750 rpm.
Here's a quick and crappy video-it was started cold and this is before any real tuning so it was really fat. You can hear the air filter sucking pretty hard too. I'll be working on a cold air intake tube sometime, but I gt this filter cheap and needed something for now anyway.

I should have it home for Car Craft, though it still will look like a work in progress. It runs well enough that I should be able to drive it in confidently, but no extra-curricular activities yet.

Yep, new tank with a sump welded to it so the fuel pump has a constant uninterrupted supply of go go juice.

Don't think I can make it to Anoka this weekend, but at least the damn thging is home and runs decent. Still some tuning to do-timing is off. There's still a little popping when I back off the throttle and it's still a little rich I think, but it runs decent otherwise-good enough to make it to Car Craft.
