Would either of you guys have any pictures of Jamies El Camino frame? I am running my fuel and brake lines and a picture would be worth, well, a ton of words.
Yes, I have an assembly manual but I can't quite tell exactly where they route. The fuel lines look like they are supposed to run below the tranny crossmember, but the holes for the mounting brackets look like they are supposed to go above. Also, I like the way Jamie ran the line to the evaporator canister (runs with brake line up drivers side frame rail) and it's different in my manual.

Someone on Team Chevelle may have pics of a rolling chassis. People are always posting pictures of thier frame off projects. I know none of the lines run below the bottom of the frame.

I've searched and searched and can't find what I am looking for. I know the lines run along the side of the frame, but I can't tell if they run above or below the tranny crossmember.
I believe you have an El Camino frame? I just I just looked at the lines on My El Camino. I bought the Fine Lines reproduction lines and ran them the same as my old frame. Mine are below the flat notch in the triangle box of the frame for the transmission crossmember for both the fule lines and the brake lines. They fit nice and I dont recall any problems with fitment.

I just got back from Bruces Tschidas shop. He had a fully restored frame there on display and the lines do run above the crossmember. However, you have a shortened an El Camino frame for this so im not sure how relevant that might be.
I can say this. They are quite straight forward. You can lay them down on the floor and mock up how they are supposed to go. It will be obvious the direction they run along the frame.
