Sorry to say I literally haven't lifted a tool on the Elky in 2 years now... All I seem to do is pile more crap on top of it, fix stuff around the house and other cars.

Whats with all of us pre-66 guys. Me, Karl, John D, Enganeer, Dave Sietz. We all have cars that have been sitting more then running for all of these years. Its a wierd trend I tell ya.

maybe we should just limit ourselves to 67-72?????

have a nice day. [Smile]

I plan on actually hooking up my radio this weekend. It's only been a full year since I mounted it and the speaker that were in tha car from the 80s still work. I mean, we're talking about 3 real wires and a couple speaker wires and I still haven't bothered.

Hey, I have had Fridays off all summer to get stuff done. So far I have just done the stuff my wife wants done. I spent all friday doing laundry, cleaning house, doing dishes and watching the kids. Sat I had to go to her class reunion that was a bust and follow it up with a family function. So I have Sunday planned to work on cars and get my things done. On the way home she asked what we should do on Sunday. Hey I have guys coming over to work on cars? So I will be back in the dog house after a momentary lapse out of it.

Oy! I have been working on my 64' and my 70elky does move on it's own power.

I finished the exhaust and redid the trans crossmember on the 64'. Seems every two steps I go forward, I go back one to make it better.

Yeah... today will probably be spent @ my mom's house - clearing out my dads cr*p that's still there. Then back home to do the same.

(I may head over to the Land o' Lakes show for a bit though... I'd be kicking myself to not go to a show that's only a mile away!)
