So I tried every easy way to do that wire harness in Mikes car. ^*$%&$#$%^#$*#%^#@&^$ that I finally got it out by dropping the colum and yanking the dash. On the brite side it only had 1 ground wire connected on the entire harness. And I found a major power wire was just stuffed in the holder. Cut wires spliced wires and all sorts of goodness. Now I get to clean up this mess and throw the new harness back in.

When your done, you will able to breeze through getting your car done.
I get my experience at the U-pull yard. I pulled a 73 tilt / telescoping column complete from the rag joint to the steering wheel in about twenty minutes without cutting or smashing anything in the way.

That made me laugh! Silver Mullet... Way Funny.
Dave, seriously I can pick up the car sometime this week. I have been to lazy to pick up the phone. Let me know what I need to do to help you. I have off on Wednesday and Thursday and will be leaving for North Dakota on Friday afternoon. You have done WAAAAAAAAY to much for me already. I know darn well that I would NEVER ticket you in Rogers.
Let me know...

Still not done, hopefully by the weekend because I have way to many projects and Honey do things. I received as a gift 10 gallons of driveway sealer. Not enough to get it done, just enough to get the wife wanting it started and done.

I had to run over to Jamies and get 1 lamp bayonet connecter. I was told you need all the connectors in for the dash lights to work. I'm also putting in all new dash light bulbs.

Rick stopped by to "Help" on the dash with the book, CRABBY OLD GUY FORGOT THE BOOK! Pulled the entire dash out and brought it into the shed to wire it. LOTS of missing screws, ground wires, and connections as well as lightbulb holders. So this is really so much fun it would be great for all of you to do. Hey missery loves company thats why Rick is always looking for a place to hang.

Yeah, I had to fix my HVAC heater slide lever-it was bound up somehow. After effing with it for so long, I am convinced it would have been easier to pull the whole dash carrier out. Aint much room with all the ducts and the wires, ECM and that harness all in the way.

Guess what I found, the printed circuit is fried on the dash light circuit and the ammeter circuit. I went to get a new one and have to wait till one comes in. So I can officialy say THIS IS GETTING REALLY OLD!!!!!! ARGH Yea the guys on team Chevelle said it only takes 6 hrs R&R. Maybe if you know what the F%&& your doing and have a clue. When your driving over to look at another car for what goes where you get tired of it. CAN I PLEASE GET SOME STRONGER MEDS?????????

Evidence room? Come on guys, we know it never makes it that far. Just lets them off with a stern warning and 'I will have to seize this'... Sorta like growing up in the 70's.
Some how I don't see Mike partaking in that sort of thing.
Dave, take some aleve's followed by four Jack and Cokes and all those problems go away for a few hours. Repeat as needed until the problem is gone.
