I spoke with Dave yesterday about the wiring and the rest of the stuff. He had to order a new circuit board and some other things.
I am planning on being at Dave's on Friday 08/15 to hopefully get this car done. I have to work on Saturday and I hope to be able to bring the car to Anoka and then finally drive it HOME.
If anyone is interested in helping out on Friday let me or Dave know.

If the car was at your house, I could swing that but trying to drive to Dave's house out in BFE with all the cabin traffic is to way too much of headache for me.
Sounds like you guys have it pretty much under control and only so many people can work under a dash. I might make it to Anoka on Saturday.

Mike stopped over on Friday and started to clean and get the dash area ready. About Noon Auto City Classics called and said the dash parts were in. Mike made a beeline over there to pick up the dash parts and got back around 2:00. Started getting things together and then THE CRABBY OLD GUY CALLED AND CAME OVER. SO we had to listen to him whine about Geritol and aches and pains that he couldn't help. Got the PC board on the gauges and new ammeter gauge in. Mounted all the stuff and looked for missing screws in the junk drawer to reduce squeeks and vibrations. Chased down wire diagrams trying to find what wire goes where and got the dash moved into the car. Then spent more time chasing wires and rssembling parts to the dash. Still not done and even the mellow Mike was cursing like a sailor at reassembling this thing.

Sorry Mike, I ran into a roadblock with my car that has derailed progress. I suddenly felt the need to redo the heads on my Olds. They just called from the machine shop and my heads are done. Now Chris said he will stop over and give me a hand, or do it correctly getting my car back together. A few days of driving the truck can break a guy filling that thing up.

Mike, I was at Daves last weekend helping him get his daily driver back on the road that had started acting up and finally broke down away from home. It looks like your car is just around the corner getting back on the road from the looks of it. Wiring harness was in and just needed to finish installing the dash back in place. Then make sure all the circuits are working. Might sound like a lot but its not bad at all really.
