John, I believe I have a guage cluster and harness with a so-so bezel. Let me know if you are interested. I'll go home and look to make sure it is complete. Feel free to call me anytime @ 612-743-8307. We can talk. I may have parts you need, and vice versa.

John,

If I something in my inventory, we will figure out the numbers.
Probably the only area I could help would be on the steering stuff.
The nice part about the bench is you can get three people in the truck.
Handy at times.
Karl

Rob... to clarify I'd like a cluster with gauges, not idiot lights....

So they made a 65 with actual guages rather than idiot lights? Shoot, I'd like that too then. I only knew of the three guages, (speedo, tach/clock, and warning lights with gas guage). If something else exists I want one. I'll have to look into that.

All I have is the speedo, clock, gas guage/warning lights) with a harness.

Congrats! This was a good move from what Derek told me, and you could sell your 'leftovers' and get back a fair chunk of it!

Rob, In 64-65 the Super Sports came with gauges in place of idiot lights used in the lower model lines.

Sweet. I did not know that. I wonder how hard it would be to scrounge them up. Now I'm interested. But as John mentioned, would the harness be completely different?

I've got a wiring diagram for '64's, but it's only for an idiot light setup. I'd like to see one for the gauge package.

I have both clusters. I'll have to take a look and see. I know the oil gauge is mechanical so that doesn't change anything and the fuel gauge would be the same. The water gauge uses a different sender but I think the under dash wires would be the same. The only thing I can think of would be the amp gauge needing different wires.

Bungy,

Do you have a pic of this guage cluster? I'd love to know what I am in search of now.

This is a picture of my gauge cluster. You could also buy a tach that goes where the clock is(on my to do list) and the clock goes on top of the dash.

Rob, I will send you the wiring diagrams in an e-mail. You should pick up an assembly manual, it has a ton of great info with pictures for dumb guys like me! [Razz]
