Information: I Had a 1970 Chevelle
Malibu. The Car was bought by my uncle new in 1970, my
father bought the car from him when he was 16 and when I
turned 16 i was tossed a set of keys and it became a father
son project so you can see the importance this vehicle has
to me.
The car was originally that light
lime green they came with but paint faded so the car was
primed like a brick red. The front end was black due to
having new fenders, SS Cowl hood which was also black on the
outside but was originally blue and dark green. It had one
black door and a black trunk lid.
It had a very
distinctive crease in
the rear quarter right by the taillight and very minor damage
to the passenger side quarter due to a minor accident. It
had a set of 4 centerline wheels, 21/2" stainless steel
exhaust, no motor or trans, with a 12 bolt rear.
The interior was dark green with a
Front bench seat, it was originally a 3 speed on the column
car but the shifter had been moved to the floor. Floor pans
had some sheet metal patch panels and the odometer had just
turned over 100,000 so it had started over.
If any one comes across this
vehicle or has any information or questions about this
vehicle please contact me at 240-304-7180. You will be taken
care of if my vehicle is found.
It was stolen from Bryans Road in
Charles County Maryland and I believe the car is still around
that area, or Indian Head and possible may have even been
taking to Tennessee. All you car guys out there you must know
how it feels to lose a 70 Chevelle that's been family owned
since 1970.
The car has been missing since
April 26, 2006 so it only been few months.
Thanks for the help!!!! Robert
