Pat and Michele Coffey's 1972 Chevelle Malibu -- Since purchasing the car, I have done a disc brake swap, rally wheels and tires, boxed rear control arms, added a 7/8" sway bar to the back, upgraded from the 15/16" to a 1-1/8" sway bar up front and added the SS hood. Most recently the car has been repainted from the original faded Sequoia Green to Metallic Spruce Green with Pearl White Stripes. Because of the extremely poor condition of the paint, it was necessary to strip the car down to bare metal. At the same time, all the usual rust spots were repaired - - behind both rear wheels, the front windshield frame, and passenger rocker panel where it had been dented and rusted out.
