Melody Saxe's 1964 El Camino -- Where was I? Oh yeah -- Over the next two months or so, we perused newspaper ads and the Autotraders. We looked at a couple of '65 cars that were priced O.B.O. Their owners would only come down $50.00 or $75.00. The amount of work needed to get rid of rust on both cars around front and back windshields, and the bubbling under the paint at the back wheel wells was overwhelming. It was more work than we were willing to undertake, or had money for. Especially for the asking prices. Our search continued.
