Greg McVittie's 1972 Chevelle SS -- That's when the whole car thing came back. I started looking for Chevelles or El Caminos. Six months or so after I started looking, we were on the way to the St. Paul Rodeo and I saw this '72 Chevelle for sale. I went back as soon as possible and found out the car was sold, pending final agreement. I guess a week or so went by, and I got a call to let me know the sale fell through. The car was again on the market. A day later, it wasn't and I owned a 1972 Chevelle SS with the build sheet. The car needed some upgrades for performance, handling, looks and sound. The paint job was immaculate. Kind of candy apple red under glass, changing to black depending where the sun was. She's not a trailer queen. She's driven everywhere and enjoyed by most. I drive her hard because she's a "Chevelle SS." The SS has some chips and scratches now, and 15,000 more miles too.
