Chuck Black's 1965 El Camino -- "I bought the El Camino in 1980 for $500. No motor or transmission. The guy gave me a 307 small block. I had the Chrysler boy put it in. It was a dog. So, I had the Chrysler boy put in a 650 2 barrel carburetor. Then I had some power. I drove it until 2001. I had a friend of mine paint it for me. Then in 2002, I joined the Chevelle & El Camino club. In 2003, I decided to repaint it. From 2003 to 2005 I had it in about three different paint shops."
