Colton Dunlap's 1977 El Camino -- From Colton's Dad, Ross Dunlap: What started as an idea for a father/son summer project turned out even better than planned. I had hoped to spend some quality time with my son while engaging some of his teen energy into something constructive. I was working on a hunch that he had Super Unleaded running in his veins, maybe he would accidently learn something useful in the process. Sure enough -- he's got the bug! He likes cruising to the shows, he likes the Late Night Drags, and he truly, truly loves his car. CECCO was another happy accident! While showing off the car, we stumbled into the 4th annual show. He was so warmly welcomed and was invited to join in the Youth Division. I would like to thank CECCO and all its members, especially Rob and Doug for being so positive and encouraging. Thank you for not looking too close and not being critical of his "budget project." Thank you for never pointing out that no-one fixes up a '77. Thank you for helping build genuine pride in a young person?s life, and making us feel welcome.
