Sonny Connell's 1972 El Camino -- Sonny purchased the car in 1979 for $1,200.00 and is the second owner. The original color of the car was Sea Foam Green and was painted twice as Pale Blue Metallic and now to the final color of Medium Royal Blue Metallic. This car has been driven approximately 241,000 miles and has had only once accident when Sonny hit a deer. Before he started the restoration process, this car was used for the following: Work Car, Towing a boat, Hauling motorcycles, Bark Dust and Debris, Moving Furniture, etc. This car even survived teaching one son and one daughter to drive. Needless to say, he does not plan on using it for any of the above items again.
