Russ and Margie Strohmeyer's 1969 Chevelle Nomad Wagon -- Margie didn't particularly like wagons since she had to drive one when she was in high school. The "big boat" was a 1963 midnight blue Chrysler wagon push button automatic on the dash. Margie thought this one was OK because it was a 1969 Chevelle wagon and Brent's car is a 1969 Chevelle. The day we went to look at the car was Brent's birthday (Brent passed away 5 1/2 years ago). It also was the seller's birthday. He said, "This car is meant for you." He reduced the price from $3500 down to $2500 without us even asking! Needless to say, we handed him the money and loaded it on our trailer. The wagon still has the original 307ci and power glide transmission. They both work great although I'm considering a 350ci and 700 R4 transmission that I have sitting in my shop.
