Rob Whittaker's 1970 Malibu -- Due to a minor fender-bender (wasn't my fault) it came time for body and paint. With Gene Bolante's expertise dismantling ?70 Chevelles, and Jason Gray's help we stripped my car in my driveway in one day. We peeled the vinyl top and found what we knew would be there, that four letter word we all know as RUST. So the car was taken to Austen's Bodyshop in Canby for some cosmetic work. The rust problems were dealt with, and I decided not to put the vinyl top back on. I had installed a Goodmark cowl hood and decided I wanted to clone the car to an SS with a twist.
