Jan Vandervolt's 1981 El Camino "Conquesta" -- All of the original paperwork came with this car including the purchase order. The car was $8969.00 back then and paid for in full. I have made an album to show off all of the paperwork: original build sheet, El Camino warranty and the original maintenance schedule. The rest of the album keeps track of the different car shows I have attended and the mileage on the car on arrival at that particular show. This way, I will always be able to look back and see how, where and when I added the mileage. My most memorable car show, so far, was the Chevelle and El Camino A.C.E.S. Regional Car Show in Graham, Washington, where I received a 2nd place in my class. Knowing the cars I was matched up against, I feel very proud to have come out with a 2nd! Now I will work harder than ever to obtain my very first 1st. For now, I plan on staying involved with the Chevelle and El Camino Club of Oregon. The people I have met have been extraordinarly fun and more than willing to help a new owner of a 1981 El Camino Conquista, which I call my "FUN 81."
