Mike and Carol Frahm's 1968 El Camino -- We got the El Camino in 1994, actually Mike’s son Erik did, and we got it from him in 1996. The truck was first bought by a Dairy Farmer in Ferndale, Washington in October 1967, to be used as a “farm” truck. He was a widower and took the ladies out on the weekend and did the farm work during the week. In 1978, when he could not drive any longer, he wrapped it in plastic and buried it in 10 feet of hay in an out building on his property. When he passed away, the family did not know where the truck was and sold the farm on an Estate auction in 1989.
