Geordie & Nicola Moski?s 1969 Beaumont -- I completely redid the rest of the interior, in black of course. (Not the original parchment, but I had to be cool, you know.) My neighbour installed a new headliner and made all new custom door panels, front and back, as well as a new package tray. He added some custom embroidery work to the back seat and door panels that really finished the whole job. Oh yeah, I did the carpet myself. What a mistake! The engine is the original (right down to the serial number of the car stamped on the block) L48 300/350. The rest of the drive train is the original TH350 transmission with an added stage 2 shift kit and a twelve bolt posi rear end with 2:56 gears. I've replaced the single exhaust that someone had put in with headers and dual exhaust with silver knights. It also has a GM HEI ignition, a Weiand intake and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. However with 120,000 miles and my lead foot a rebuild to factory specs will soon be in order. The suspension has all been redone with new polyurethane bushings, new ball joints and steering components. The wheels are Pontiac Rallye II with red PMD centre caps. (My homage to the GTO, My first love in muscle cars). P.S. On that 69 deluxe, to this day I can't recall whether or not I even checked the transmission fluid.
