It attaches with screws. If your installing a GM screen on a GM hood you could probably do it on the car. I put a repop screen on a Goodmark hood and only one hole lined up. I had to drill the rest. If that is your situation you will need to pull the hood.

sheet metal screws? hex head? clips?
