Robbie,

I have a 70 (non-SS) El Camino. How big a job is it to replace the dash?

Robbie,

Do you still have this dash available? If so, please let me know what you are asking for it (303)931-7413. I just purchased a gauge cluster (70 SS with warning lights - no tach), and I'm looking for a decent dash with A/C vents and other parts (ash tray, etc) to change my Malibu dash to an SS dash. My car has factory A/C, and I believe I should be able to use the current heater/AC controls and wiring. Do you know if my existing swept style wiring harness will work with the gauge cluster I purchased if all I really need to connect are the spedo, fuel gauge, wipers, headlight switch, and turn signal indicators? I have an external tach and series gauges, that I plan to keep in the car, so the idiot lights don't even need to be connected as far as I'm concerned. Any advice is much appreciated.
